Accident Reconstruction Firm, ATA Associates Inc., Offers Free Truck Driver Training Program
Houston, TX (PRWEB) June 4, 2007 -- ATA Associates Inc., an accident reconstruction engineering firm, recently announced the release of The Road Series 2: ... After the Accident. The program, the second in the series, illustrates to truck drivers what they must do if they are involved in a trucking accident -- who to call, when to call, how to secure the scene, who the driver should and should not talk to at the scene and what photographs should or should not be taken.
The 20-minute DVD was designed as a driver safety training session for trucking companies and truck driving schools.
"For over 30 years, we have been involved in quick response and accident reconstruction of trucking accidents. The experience we have derived has led us to create this truck driver safety series," said Robert Swint, ATA founder and CEO.
"It is our contribution to the effort of increasing trucking safety awareness in the industry," he added.
The first of the series, The Road Series: A Simple Safety Session was distributed in 2005. The 12-minute DVD covered safety situations, including blind spots, night driving and braking.
Driver quizzes and other instructional aides are available for both programs and can be downloaded through the ATA website.
The Road Series programs are offered to the trucking industry free of charge. For a copy of either program and for more information, contact Anita White at ATA Associates, 281-480-9847, or via e-mail. Or, log onto their website at www.ataassociates.com.
